Wealth Champions is the practice of Sean Leduc, based in Carleton Place, Ontario, serving clients by phone and video across Ontario. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written to be read, not just posted.
What this site collects, and why
When you use a calculator, checker or quiz: the math happens in your own browser. Your numbers are not sent anywhere when you run a tool on this site. They leave your device only if you choose to submit a form asking for your results or a follow up.
When you submit a form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the tool you used, and the consent you gave are delivered to Sean's practice email inbox (sean@wealthchampions.ca) by a form delivery service (FormSubmit). The practice stores form submissions in that mailbox and uses them to respond to you and to follow up about the results you asked for. That is the whole use.
When you book a conversation: booking is handled by Calendly, which collects the details needed to schedule the meeting under Calendly's own privacy policy.
Analytics: this website does not run advertising trackers, and it does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone, ever. If privacy respecting measurement tools are added later, this page will be updated to name them before they are used.
Email and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL)
The follow up email you receive after a form submission is a response to your own request. Ongoing educational email, such as a newsletter or event invitations, is sent only to people who gave separate, express consent through an unchecked checkbox labelled for that purpose, and every such message identifies Wealth Champions and includes a simple way to stop receiving it. Reply to any message and say you would rather not hear from Wealth Champions again, and you will not be contacted again. The request is honoured immediately and permanently.
How long information is kept
Form submissions are kept in the practice mailbox for as long as needed to serve you and to keep consent records, which are retained for at least three years after the last message sent, in line with CASL record keeping expectations. Client files are handled under the practice's professional obligations and are not stored on this website.
Security, honestly
This site is served over HTTPS. The form delivery route passes through a third party service (FormSubmit) before reaching the practice mailbox, so please do not put account numbers, passwords, or documents into a website form. Anything that sensitive moves through secure channels arranged in a conversation, not a web form.
Your choices and questions
You can ask what personal information the practice holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. It is the same person you would be working with.
